Soap on a rope? Puzzle piece crayon on twine!  I found a huge box of old crayons and I bought a puzzle piece cupcake mold at Savers for less than a dollar so naturally I melted down my crayons into puzzle pieces :)  Here I drilled a hole into the top and strung a piece of twine through it so my penpal can hang it on her wall.
